How much chocolate should I buy?
Plan for about 2 large blocks per child (200–250g each), depending on your pan size. We used two blocks per child, which fit perfectly side by side in our silicone trays. You can also use smaller pans or swap in melting buttons to reduce the amount of chocolate needed.

Can I use a microwave instead of an oven?
Yes! Simply melt the chocolate in microwave-safe bowls (with adult supervision), then pour into the trays before decorating.

How long does this activity take?
Set aside about 1 hour total. Once the chocolate is melted, decorating is quick and fun, and chilling and breaking the bark takes just 20–30 minutes.
